My biography and business history are pretty much one in the same. At 8
years old, I was following the tradition for the WWI and WWII guys that
raised me. I was already out
working with them when I wasn't in school. I was either helping Uncle Harry in his pool construction and service business or working with my Dad doing the same.. "You're burning daylight" they'd say to me at 5AM. These are the principals that made America great and when combined with my 25 years of mostly successful business experiences, makes me feel particularly qualified to help America and our region get back on the right track. Real world experience in everything from construction through manufacturing has made me a valuable consultant to many local businesses. I believe I can also do the same for our area in developing economic growth and job programs that will actually work. |

| After I volunteered for the US Army in 1973, I was discharged and moved to Florida where I have spent the vast majority of my life. I believe that my experience in life and business have prepared me to help our country and our region to recover and grow stronger. My first job in Forida was in 1974 when my buddy Tony and I moved to Riviera Beach where we would Shape Up every morning for Manpower, and were daily workers at Tropical Shipping. |

professional level and then opened Jim Horn Powerboats, a dealer for
